Leeza Regulbuto, 19, began her dancing career at the age of 2 at Dance Express in Tolland, CT. Starting in a ballet class, she then moved to Tap, Jazz and Lyrical, while continuing to dance at Dance Express for 8 years. When she was 10, Leeza moved to The Dance Academy of Somers, where she continued with Ballet, Tap, and Jazz and then branched out into Modern and Hip Hop. At the age of 14, she began attending The Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts, studying a dance major. She has attended many conventions for NADAA, where she has been awarded the lead dancer of the day, and she has worked at Envisionfest in Hartford, CT. Where she taught a dance to anyone who wanted to participate! When she was 17 she started working with the professional company of CONNetic Dance in Hartford, CT, where she had roles in both their Nutcracker and Coney Island performance. She began teaching when she was 10 along side her mother. She took over her own summer classes when she was 12 and has since began working at The Dance Academy of Somers and Grossi Dance and Performing Arts Academy in Vernon, CT. She has also taught summer Hip Hop classes at a local daycare for children with minor learning disabilities. She is now a sophomore dance major at Roger Williams University, hoping to pursue dance as a form of therapy after graduation!
